In 2019, a family-owned bar nestled in the heart of Mount Albert, with a rich history spanning two decades, embarked on an exciting new chapter. Drawing inspiration from the suburb’s storied past, they set out to infuse their establishment with a unique twist: a celebration of Mount Albert’s history alongside a vibrant fusion of flavours and experiences.
This family bar, steeped in the traditions of hospitality and community, sought to introduce locals to a diverse array of offerings. Alongside their 14 tap beer selections, showcasing both local craft brews and international favourites, they aimed to tantalize the taste buds with their own culinary creations—a blend of familiar comfort foods and innovative twists that reflect the melting pot of cultures within Mount Albert.
At the helm of this endeavour was the close-knit family behind the bar, whose passion for both their craft and their community shone through in every detail.
